Multi-Modality MRI Technologist
Join our team as a Multi-Modality MRI Technologist, where you'll use your expertise in MRI and at least one additional imaging modality to deliver exceptional diagnostic care. In this role, you'll perform high-quality imaging procedures, prioritize patient safety and comfort, collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, and help ensure accurate, timely diagnoses, all while making a meaningful impact on the patient experience.

Viera Hospital
Shift Times: 3-week rotating schedule that includes a Saturday and Sunday once per 3 weeks.
Position SummaryThe Multi-Modality MRI Technologist operates Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) equipment and a minimum of one additional modality equipment which could include Cat Scan, Diagnostic Imaging, Nuclear Medicine, or Ultrasound equipment to produce quality images of the body for diagnostic purposes following all Health First policies and procedures.
Primary ResponsibilitiesMinimum Qualifications
- Education:
Any one of the following: - American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) – Accredited programs or schools OR
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) – Accredited programs or schools OR
- Joint Review Committee Nuclear Medicine Technologist (JRCNMT) Nuclear Medicine program OR
- Joint Review Committee Diagnostic Medical Sonography (JRC-DMS) Sonography program.
- Work Experience:
None - Licensure:
General Radiographer licensure in the State of Florida. - Certification:
- Any one of the following:
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – ARRT (R) OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in MRI Technology – ARRT (MR) OR
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists (ARMRIT) OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Nuclear Medicine Technology – ARRT (N) or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB) OR
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologist in Sonography Technology – ARRT (S) OR
- American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS).
- American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologist – ARRT (MR) within two (2) years of start date.
- American Heart Association Basic Life Support (AHA BLS) Healthcare Provider Completion Card prior to start date and maintained.
- Skills/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Ability to report to applicable Health First facility within thirty (30) minutes when on call.
- Ability to work safely in a magnetic environment.
- Demonstrate effective time management, critical thinking skills, and coordinate scheduling and patient flow.
- Able to work effectively and efficiently in a stressful work environment and able to respond to life threatening situations.
