Piper Companies is looking for an Access and Affordability Specialist to join a patient support and healthcare services company located in Melbourne, FL
.
- Make outbound calls to patients to verify insurance coverage and support patient assistance program renewals.
- Review patient insurance information and help identify available financial assistance options.
- Accurately maintain patient information and documentation within Salesforce.
- Provide exceptional customer service while assisting patients with enrollment and renewal processes for life-sustaining therapies.
- High School Diploma required;
Associate's or Bachelor's Degree preferred. - Experience using Salesforce, Microsoft Word, and strong typing/data entry skills.
- Previous experience as a pharmacy technician, physician office assistant with insurance experience, insurance call center representative, or similar patient-facing healthcare role.
- Strong attention to detail, patient-focused customer service skills, and familiarity with insurance verification.
- Rate Range: $25-$30/hr, based on experience
