American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a Level II Trauma Center, requiring 1+ years of experience and both adult and pediatric acute care CT imaging skills.
Requirements- Minimum 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required
- BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
- State license required if applicable
- Active Florida license required at time of consideration; pending licenses not accepted
- Experience with adult and pediatric acute care required
- Emergency Department experience required
- Experience across pediatric to geriatric patient populations required
- Experience with abdomen and pelvis CT with and/or without contrast required
- Experience with vascular chest and chest CT with and/or without contrast required
- Experience with head and neck CT imaging required
- Experience with spine and musculoskeletal CT imaging required
- 3D rendering experience required
- Experience with isolation precautions and PPE required
- Experience preparing and/or administering contrast media required
- Biopsy experience required
- Two supervisory references (Manager, Supervisor, Charge Nurse, or Director) dated within the past year required for consideration
- Acute care hospital setting within the CT Tech unit
- Level II Adult Trauma Center with 514 staffed beds
- Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 17:00 to 5:30
- Block scheduling available depending on unit needs
- Weekend requirements depend on block schedule
- No on-call requirements
- May float to sister facilities including Cape Canaveral, Palm Bay, and Viera based on unit needs
- Uses PACS and Philips equipment; GE experience preferred
- Sunrise EMR preferred but not required
- First-time travelers accepted
- Local candidates accepted at the same rate as travelers with no radius restriction
- Former employees or contract staff must be separated from the facility for at least one year before returning as a traveler
- Travel pairs permitted with unit leader approval, though matching schedules are not guaranteed
- Finalized RTO must be submitted for consideration; additional RTO requests are not accepted after offer
- Solid-colored scrubs required with matching tops and bottoms, no logos or prints
