Description:
The position is for a CT Tech.
Block scheduling is available, depending on specific position and unit needs.
Weekend requirements will depend on block scheduling.
On-call duty is not required.
The average daily census is 450 patients.
First-timers are accepted.
Pending licenses are not accepted; a Florida State license is required at the time of submission.
Floating requirements to sister facilities will be determined by unit needs.
Local candidates are accepted at the same rate as travelers.
Contracted hours are guaranteed.
Finalized requests for time off must be included with submission and will not be accepted after the offer.
Special requirements include:
Experience with the abdomen and pelvis, vascular chest, and chest imaging with and without contrast.
Experience with head, neck, spine, and musculoskeletal imaging is required.
3D rendering experience is necessary.
Knowledge of isolation precautions is required.
Preparation and administration of contrast media are required.
Experience with biopsies is required.
The facility is an acute care hospital with a staffed bed count of 514.Solid-colored scrubs are required, with specific colors designated for various units.
Charting is conducted through a specific electronic medical record system, experience is not required.
The patient age groups include adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics.
The daily census averages 450 patients.
Interdisciplinary support includes teams from various specialties.
Candidates with a history of disciplinary action or license issues must be identified prior to submission.
Travel pairs are permitted upon prior approval, although matching schedules may not be guaranteed.
Travelers must be available to complete required laboratory work promptly following signing.
Modules related to the role must be completed during the initial orientation and on an annual basis.
Module time is non-billable and included in the regular schedule.
