Description:
This position requires rotating evening and weekend call with a 30-minute response time for emergent procedures.
The Interventional Radiology Tech must have a thorough understanding of various procedures, including G-tube placement, central lines, and chemotherapy administration.
Techs in this role must be licensed Radiologic Technologists.
Weekend call will begin during the first week of employment on an every-other weekend basis.
On-call commitment is approximately 33% of the month, translating to about 10-14 shifts, depending on team availability.
Weekday on-call begins when the team has completed their shifts, typically by the end of the day.
The individual may be required to float to meet departmental needs.
Local candidates are accepted and will receive the same rate as travelers.
Finalized time-off requests must be submitted with the application, and no additional requests will be accepted after the offer.
All candidates must provide relevant experience, as outlined in the must-have section.
Candidates with background or license findings must be identified before submission.
Medical and religious exemptions are accepted for vaccination requirements.
The techs must demonstrate proficiency in X-ray procedures common in interventional radiology.
They must be skilled in managing complex procedures and have experience with specific equipment and technologies used in the unit.
