HR Generalist

Early Learning Coalition of Brevard County, Inc. – This role involves a wide range of HR responsibilities covering workforce planning, employee relations, and compliance.

  • HR-related activities including invoice processing, benefit management, employee file management, recruitment, and retention efforts. Assist with drafting correspondence, spreadsheets, operations manuals, and preparing reports and other HR documents.
  • Recruits, interviews, hires, and conducts employee onboarding.
  • Manages the talent acquisition process for managerial, exempt, and professional roles, collaborating with departmental managers to understand required skills and competencies.
  • Manages the performance management program.
  • Handles discipline, separation, and termination of employees in accordance with Coalition policy.
  • Ensures security policies and procedures are followed to protect the network and modifies user security access rights as needed.
  • Partners with leadership to execute the organization’s HR and talent strategy related to current and future talent needs, recruiting, retention, and succession planning.
  • Provides support and guidance to HR, management, and staff on complex, specialized, and sensitive issues; administers routine tasks in delicate circumstances such as reasonable accommodations, investigation of wrongdoing, and terminations.
  • Analyzes compensation and benefits trends; researches and proposes competitive base and incentive pay programs to attract and retain top talent.
  • Creates learning and development programs and initiatives that provide internal opportunities for employee growth.
  • Oversees employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations.
