Position Summary / ObjectiveThe Human Resources Coordinator provides administrative and operational support for Human Resources functions, including onboarding, recruiting coordination, employee communications, HR documentation, and general office administration. This position serves as a key point of contact for employees and candidates while supporting HR compliance, reporting, and special projects.

- Coordinate and execute employee onboarding activities, including preparing new hire paperwork, scheduling orientations, and ensuring completion of pre-employment requirements.
- Serve as a primary point of contact for new hires by providing guidance regarding company policies, procedures, benefits, and available resources.
- Assist with recruiting activities, including scheduling candidate interviews and coordinating communications with hiring managers and applicants.
- Facilitate and coordinate security clearance processing with security personnel and candidates, ensuring required documentation is completed accurately and timely.
- Create, update, organize, and maintain HR forms, templates, records, and documentation.
- Assist with HR audits, reporting, compliance activities, projects, and other administrative support functions as assigned.
- Assist with processing employee verification requests and responding to unemployment claims in a timely manner.
- Coordinate required HR mailings, including employee notifications, periodic correspondence, and mass communications.
- Administer and track employee programs such as Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Referral programs.
- Assist with maintaining and updating job descriptions and supporting salary survey activities, as needed.
- Serve as office administrator for facility-related items, office supplies, company business cards, and general administrative needs.
- Provide general customer service and support to employees, managers, and external contacts regarding HR-related inquiries.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field, with 2+ years of HR experience, including onboarding, HRIS, or related experience. Equivalent education and experience considered.

- Proficiency with ADP Workforce Now
- Government Contracting Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and HRIS systems
- Strong organizational and time management skills

- Knowledge of general Human Resources principles, practices, and employment processes
- Knowledge of onboarding, recruiting coordination, and employee recordkeeping practices
- Familiarity with HR compliance requirements and personnel documentation standards
- Ability to maintain accurate records and prepare reports
- Ability to communicate professionally with employees, candidates, managers, and external contacts
- Skilled in administrative support and office coordination functions
Work authorization/security clearance requirements:
No Security Clearance required upon hire. Ability to obtain a security clearance, as required.
