Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations - Christian Care Ministry
Salary range: $101,000 - $146,000. Actual base pay will be determined based on location, skills/abilities, experience, and education. The role is onsite full-time in Melbourne, FL.

The Job
The Manager, IT Infrastructure Operations will ensure the network engineering and server operations teams maintain high standards of operations. You will work with the IT Security Director to secure the network perimeter and ensure reliability, monitor operations via network monitoring tools, manage a team of server system administrators for business operations, disaster recovery, and business continuity. You will provide weekly reports on operational status, project progress, and team accomplishments.
This is a 24/7/365 environment requiring responsiveness and coordination of after-hours maintenance. You will coach, set goals, and conduct regular 1:1 meetings to clarify expectations and provide training opportunities. You will interface with external vendors and collaborate with other departments and leadership.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
- Manage an enterprise network engineering team to maintain, operate, and design future architecture in a Cisco-centric network environment
- Lead a team of systems administrators operating Microsoft Windows Active Directory, Linux servers, Cloud environments, and related responsibilities
- Communicate IT operations processes and protocols with executive leadership
- Provide direction, prioritize projects, and manage a JIRA agile workflow
- Enter tickets into JIRA JSM for milestones, define road maps, and ensure dates are met
- Document assets in Visio (Model, Make, Warranty information, Firmware versioning)
- Ensure onboarding and offboarding policies are in place
- Maintain templates for each position’s security and email group membership
- Design system configurations, install systems, and enforce standards
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and escalate issues to vendors as needed
- Maximize network performance and coordinate with network architects on optimization
- Manage network security policies and disaster recovery testing
- Provide weekly reports on network/server status to the Director of IT Infrastructure
- Respond to after-hours issues as required
- Collaborate with Procurement on budgets and purchases
- Contribute to Christian Care Ministry’s beliefs
- Perform other duties as assigned
Essential Skills & Abilities
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft products (Windows and domain architecture), EDI, and network domain architecture
- Ability to perform technical tasks and lead a growing enterprise
- In-depth knowledge of Windows server systems
- Strong Knowledge of Active Directory and Windows design
- Knowledge of protocols and tools for systems maintenance and networking
- Experience with firewalls, switches, routers, and wireless devices
- Advanced server/network virtualization knowledge
- Familiarity with service desk ticketing software and meeting SLAs with strong customer service
- Strong ability to mentor and instruct staff

Education and/or Experience
- Associate’s degree with 3+ years’ experience direct managing of complex teams OR 5+ years of direct IT management experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Advanced Cisco certifications (CCNP/CCIE) strongly preferred
- VMware Certified Professional strongly preferred
- Microsoft Server & Cloud certifications strongly preferred
Supervisory Responsibilities
- Supervises a team of 8-10 employees
