Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Information Systems Project Management (Level
2) or Principal Information Systems Project Management (Level
3) to join our team within the Test and Evaluation organization. The Project Manager will join our Cyber Ops team within the Lab Operations organization located in Melbourne, FL
.

The Information Systems Project Manager will work directly with the Cyber Systems Engineering team to manage and direct projects in the design, implementation and modification of projects that span across functional organizations. You will provide oversight of projects and daily tasking of technical and business resources, aspects of the strategic operations rhythm and programmatic implementation support, and provide technical and analytical guidance to the project team.

You will develop and manage multiple team projects, prepare status reports, assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet productivity, quality and client-satisfaction goals and objectives.

You will thrive in a dynamic work environment with high expectations, diverse assignments, and collaborative/team settings across all levels. Success requires high attention to detail and a focus on quality deliverables.

Note:

This is an individual contributor role with no direct reports.

• Developing tools and methodologies for monitoring project progress and problem solving with project managers.
• Creating templates for presentations and documents and assisting with document preparation to ensure quality and consistency across team deliverables.
• Coordination with internal customers, external customers, partners, suppliers, and project team members
• Developing, maintaining, and communicating processes and process changes to impacted stakeholders
• Interfacing with functional roles for staffing and forecasting
• Ensuring consistent, predictable team progress to weekly, monthly, and annual goals
• Prepare status charts, presentation slides, metrics, and tracking spreadsheets along with leading One Cyber project teams
• Manage operational tasks through the implementation of Project Management principles

This requisition may be filled at an Information Systems Technical Analyst (Level
2) or Principal Information Systems Technical Analyst (Level
3) level based on qualifications.

• Must have a Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 2 years of related professional/military experience; OR a Master’s Degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related professional/military experience.
• Must have an active DoD Secret Clearance or higher and ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret Clearance.
• Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs, prior to the start of employment
• Demonstrated experience with Project Management, Agile Team Management, and/or Technical Communications principles in a professional setting
