Position: ServiceNow Developer with Security Clearance
The Senior Service Now Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and deploying secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions on the Service Now platform. This role partners closely with the Service Now Platform Architect, Technical Consultants, and Agile delivery teams to implement enterprise-grade workflows, integrations, and custom applications while adhering to Service Now governance and security standards.
This is a full-time, on-site role in Melbourne, FL, supporting mission-critical systems. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required to meet project deadlines or resolve critical production issues.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and deploy Service Now applications, modules, workflows, and integrations based on approved solution designs.

• Develop and maintain server-side and client-side scripts including Business Rules, Script Includes, Glide Scripts, UI Policies, and Client Scripts.

• Implement integrations using REST/SOAP APIs, Integration Hub, and MID Servers.

• Build and support custom Service Now applications and scoped solutions.

• Apply configuration management best practices, ensuring compliance with platform governance, standards, and naming conventions.

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, demos, and retrospectives.

• Perform unit testing, support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and ensure high code quality and maintainability.

• Provide operational support, including root-cause analysis, troubleshooting, and performance optimization.

• Support platform upgrades, patching, cloning, and environment management.

• Collaborate with Platform Architecture and Security teams to implement secure coding practices and access control policies.

Required Qualifications

• 5–10+ years of hands-on Service Now development and implementation experience across multiple modules.

• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, Glide API, Flow Designer, and Service Now data models.

• Experience implementing enterprise integrations and authentication methods (OAuth, SAML, LDAP).

• Hands-on experience with ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, or related Service Now modules.

• Experience working within Agile/Scrum development environments.

• Solid understanding of configuration management, update sets, release processes, and Dev Ops pipelines.

• Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, enterprise environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Service Now Certified System Administrator (CSA) – Required

• Service Now Certified Application Developer (CAD) – Preferred

• Service Now Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) – Preferred (ITSM, ITOM, ITAM, etc.)

• Experience with C# strongly preferred (supports integration with internal Java and C# applications).
