Job Description

The ERP and MRP Applications Manager oversees the implementation and operational support of Supply Chain and Operations functionality across the ERP solutions. Responsibilities include collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and delivering innovative solutions to align with L3

Harris business objectives, ensuring system stability and performance for production systems, leading analyst and architect support personnel, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives. Additionally, this role is responsible for supporting ERP Digital Transformation efforts for large SAP ERP integration projects.

Essential Functions
  • Oversee daily operations and support for ERP Supply Chain and Operations capabilities, ensuring system stability and performance.
  • Lead and manage the Supply Chain and Operations work streams for a large SAP implementation project, including planning, execution, and post-implementation support.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, design solutions, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
  • Monitor and manage system upgrades, patches, and enhancements, ensuring minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to the ERP support team, including training, mentoring, and performance evaluations.
  • Coordination with ERP development resources to ensure technical and coding tasks align with overarching solution design.
  • Responsible for monitoring and reporting progress on support incidents and tasks, including identification of schedule or technical risks and corresponding mitigation plans
  • Responsible for ensuring the integrity and consistency of data across integrated ERP systems through effective data governance and quality management.
  • Work with management and business units to understand release priorities, resource allocation, and scheduling.
  • Oversee all aspects of vendor management for ERP Commercial Off the Shelf (COTS) applications
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years’ experience leading global initiatives;
    Graduate Degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Minimum of 12 years of experience in ERP system utilization and operational leadership, with a proven track record of successful system implementations and support
Preferred Additional Skills
  • Strong interpersonal skill set, with capability of interfacing and forming strong business partnerships with CHQ, Segment, sector and division leadership and stakeholders.
  • Strong presentation skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation.
  • Strong technical background in business operations – tools and processes.
  • Experience working within ERP applications, with emphasis on operations and supply chain.
  • Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
  • Strong understanding of operation and supply chain business processes and system functionality in ERP systems
