The Lead, Program Management Digital Transformation is responsible for the deployment, adoption, and scaling of the L3
Harris Program Digital Cockpit across complex programs spanning multiple phases of the program lifecycle. This role blends program management, enterprise software implementation, and change management to enable data-driven execution, improved program performance, and standardized digital program management practices across the enterprise.
The role operates at the intersection of program management, IT, and business operations and works closely with program teams, engineering, finance, supply chain, and digital/IT partners to ensure successful implementation, sustainment, and continuous improvement of the Program Digital Cockpit.
Responsibilities- Lead enterprise deployment and scaling of the L3
Harris Program Digital Cockpit across programs and business segments. - Orchestrate new program onboardings, including planning, execution, risk management, and stakeholder engagement.
- Serve as the primary interface between program teams, digital/IT organizations, business stakeholders, and external partners/vendors to align requirements and execution.
- Develop and execute deployment strategies tailored to different program types and lifecycle phases (development, production, sustainment).
- Drive adoption by creating and delivering training, user guides, and communication materials for program teams and administrators.
- Monitor system usage, performance, and data quality; identify gaps and drive corrective actions.
- Lead and coordinate cross-functional deployment teams, including developers, system administrators, functional stakeholders, and external partners/vendors.
- Apply appropriate project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall) based on program and deployment needs.
- Communicate status to broad stakeholder groups, including executive audiences, on progress, risks, issues, and plan to completion.
- Conduct risk assessments related to deployment, adoption, and scalability; develop and implement mitigation strategies.
- Capture user feedback and translate it into enhancement recommendations for future releases.
- Support continuous improvement of digital program management processes and tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree (Accounting, Finance, Business or related discipline) and minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 5 years’ experience scaling software solutions across large organizations.
- Experience in program or project management within a complex product development or defense environment.
- Strong knowledge of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
- Solid understanding of IT infrastructure and system architecture.
- Hands-on experience with enterprise software platforms (ERP, MRP, CRM, PLM, or similar systems).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including ability to assess risks and develop mitigation plans.
