Please note that this opportunity is contingent on program funding. Start dates are determined after funding confirmation. Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a knowledgeable and proactive Principal Cyber Systems Dev Ops Engineer (Level
3) OR Sr. Principal Cyber Systems Dev Ops Engineer (Level
4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Test & Evaluation organization in Melbourne, FL. As the Cyber Systems Dev Ops Engineer, you will lead the design, implementation, and optimization of automated processes and infrastructure solutions. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance software development, lifecycle efficiencies, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and managing cloud infrastructure. The ideal candidate will have experience with various automation tools and technologies, ensuring that the deployment and operational processes are streamlined and reliable.

This position requires strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high-quality standards. Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate software build, test, and deployment processes.
* Develop and manage infrastructure as Code (IaC) using tools such as Terraform or Cloud Formation to provision and manage cloud/On-Prem cloud resources.

* Automate the deployment and configuration of virtual machines and containers using tools like Ansible and Docker.

* Collaborate with software development teams to integrate automated testing and ensure code quality through continuous feedback.

* Monitor and optimize system performance, reliability, and scalability of applications in cloud environments.

* Create and maintain custom automation tools to enhance operational efficiency and reduce manual intervention.

* Develop scripts and automation workflows for virtual test station deployment and configuration management.

* Provide technical support and troubleshooting for automated systems and processes.

* Document automation processes, best practices, and operational guidelines for team knowledge sharing.

* Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and innovations in automation and Dev Ops practices.
