Job Description:
The Sr. Analyst for Sales and Distribution (SD) SAP oversees the implementation and operational support of SAP SD functionality.
Responsibilities include:
collaborating with cross-functional teams, designing and delivering innovative solutions to align with L3
Harris business objectives, ensuring system stability and performance for production systems, and contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Essential Functions:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders and managed service support personnel to design, configure, and test SAP SD solution, providing expert guidance on best practices.
- Document business requirements for the Sales and Distribution (SD) modules, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.
- Support the implementation of SD functionality for large SAP implementation projects, including system upgrades, enhancements, and new module rollouts.
- Develop and maintain detailed documentation, including functional specifications and process flows.
- Assist with prioritization of issue resolution and enhancements for SAP SD module, provide guidance to assist with troubleshooting complex issues
- Build strong internal & external customer relationships by aligning system solutions to our changing business requirements
- Stay current with new technologies especially within SAP systems to align technologies with the L3
Harris business direction
- Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and minimum 6 years of prior relevant experience. Graduate Degree Finance, Accounting, Information Technology, or a related field and a minimum of 4 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 10 years of prior related experience.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in ERP system utilization and configuration, with a proven track record of successful system implementations and support.
- Strong understanding of Sales and Distribution, project management principles, and SAP integration points with other modules (e.g., MM, FICO, PMMO).
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex business requirements and translate them into effective ERP solutions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong presentation skills with the ability to present complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with development of technical solutions to complex problems and driving implementation.
- Experience working with SAP Preferred partner Cognitus (Billing and Contract Flowdown solution)
- Exposure to project management methodologies, including waterfall and Agile
