Senior Enterprise Hardware & Systems Engineer

Required Technical / Functional Skills

• Minimum 5+ years of experience in setting up and managing enterprise hardware
• Expertise with Dell, HP, Cisco servers and enterprise storage systems
• Installation, configuration, and maintenance of network devices including switches, routers, and firewalls
• Strong experience with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu) and Windows Server environments
• Hands-on experience with VMware, AWS, and Azure platforms
• Working knowledge of Oracle, SQL Server, and Postgre
  
  SQL administration and support
• Proficiency in Bash, Power Shell, and Python for automation and task orchestration
• Strong understanding of TCP/IP, VPN, VLANs, Subnetting, Routing/Switching, and Firewall technologies
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Nagios, Zabbix, Grafana, Prometheus, and Solar Winds

• Design, install, configure, and maintain servers, storage systems, networking equipment, and related peripheral hardware
• Deploy, manage, and optimize operating systems, virtualization platforms, and system monitoring solutions
• Collaborate with Software, Dev Ops, Security, and Operations teams to ensure system compatibility, stability, and performance
• Perform system upgrades, patching, security hardening, and lifecycle management
• Monitor, diagnose, and resolve hardware and infrastructure performance issues
• Ensure high availability, redundancy, and effective disaster recovery for critical systems
• Implement security policies, manage vulnerabilities, and ensure timely application of patches
• Provide advanced troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and support for incident resolution
• Document system configurations, processes, and best practices.
