Penetration Testing Lead

Koniag IT Systems, LLC, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Penetration Testing Lead to support KITS and our government customer in Washington, DC. This position is for a Future New Business Opportunity.

The customer may need support as needed at other locations:
Warrenton, VA, Atlantic City, NJ, Melbourne, FL, Oklahoma, OK and Leesburg, VA.

• They’re responsible for leading for all penetration testing efforts under the contract.
• They serve as the primary Point of Contract (POC) between the Government’s Program Office, Contracting Officer’s Representative (COR) and Contracting Officer (CO) for all penetration testing and issues.
• They must attend all Program Management Reviews (PMRs) with the Program Manager and report the status of the contract’s penetration testing activities and issues.
• They ensure the contract meets the requirements in its project plan and schedule for penetration testing work and output; and is following applicable standards and guidelines.
• Must meet the Minimum Qualification Requirements of “Senior II Scientist/Engineer/Systems Analyst” as defined in the FAA eFAST MOA 2021.
• The Penetration Testing Lead must have a bachelor’s degree in engineering, Mathematics, or Science and a minimum of 15 years’ experience in addition to the degree.
• Good to have’s: A bachelor’s degree in computer science, Cybersecurity, or Information Technology, OSCP (Offensive Security Certified Professional), CISSP, or GPEN Certifications, and Expertise in NIST 800-53 requirements, threat emulation, and Rules of Engagement (RoE) specifically tailored for the FAA or similar agencies.
• They must have the required years of experience listed in the labor category including and/or exceeding five (5) years of management and supervisory experience.
• Two (2) of the five (5) years must have been in a lead role.
• They also must have experience in the successful completion of multiple penetration testing exercises.
