Program Planning And Scheduling Analyst / IMS Analyst
DPP is seeking a Program Planning and Scheduling Analyst / IMS Analyst for an opportunity with our client in the Defense & Space Manufacturing industry.
Work location:
Onsite in Melbourne, FL Duration: 9 months (renewable)
Work shift:

Candidates must be eligible to obtain and maintain a US security clearance.
Position summary:
The Program Planning Scheduling Analyst / IMS Analyst will prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives. Ensures major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Tracks plans and schedules, performs risk analysis, identifies and resolves critical path and network logic conflicts.
Utilizes Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas.
- Create and maintain the Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet program objectives.
- Ensure schedules are integrated across engineering, manufacturing, materials, and finance, conducting critical path analysis and network logic validation.
- Implement industry standards such as DCMA 14-point analysis, Earned Value Management (EVM), and Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA).
- Utilize tools like Microsoft Project, Open Plan, or Primavera P6 to monitor progress, identify bottlenecks, and suggest corrective actions.
- Support Integrated Baseline Reviews (I ) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) and prepare weekly/monthly status reports for management.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience developing and maintaining Integrated Master Schedules (IMS).
- Understanding of Earned Value Management System (EVMS) guidelines, principles and reporting.
- Understanding of Material Cost Management.
- Experience in Schedule Risk Assessment (SRA), Critical Path Analysis, and knowledge of DCMA 14-point health metrics.
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint) and Microsoft Project.
- Experience with in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks with competing deadlines and work collaboratively within a team.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government (DoD) Secret security clearance. Active, in-scope DoD Secret security clearance a huge plus.
