Paralegal/Legal Assistant – Family Law Firm

We are a busy family law firm seeking a Full Time “in house” Paralegal / Legal Assistant to join our team.

One of our long-time employees is relocating out of state and we are looking to hire a replacement in advance to allow for thorough training and a smooth transition.

• Managing discovery in Family Law cases
• Typing and preparing Financial Affidavits
• Preparing and filing Certificates of Compliance with Mandatory Disclosure
• Organizing and maintaining client files (electronic and paper, if applicable)
• Communicating professionally with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel
• Assisting attorneys with general case management and administrative tasks
• Conducting initial client intakes.

• Strong computer skills and proficiency with legal documents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Exceptional attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines
• Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
• Prior family law experience highly preferred, but not required for the right candidate
