  • Lead Supply Chain execution for key programs
    • Serve as the primary supply chain point of contact for Program Management, Engineering, and Operations.
    • Accountable for material cost, schedule performance, forecasting, risk/opportunity management, and supplier performance.
  • Develop and execute material strategy
    • Lead material planning and strategy across all phases of the Business Acquisition Process (BAP).

    • Provide hands‑on, onsite support at multiple supplier locations (25%–45% travel).
    • Ensure supplier production aligns to demand, quality requirements, and schedule commitments, and actively resolve supply chain issues at the source.
  • Partner on design and DFx
    • Provide technical leadership for DFx initiatives (Design for Manufacturability, Assembly, Test, etc.).
    • Evaluate engineering changes and assess material and supply chain impacts to protect cost, schedule, and quality.

    • Proactively identify critical supplier risks and opportunities; develop and execute mitigation and recovery plans.
    • Provide clear, data‑driven status updates to program and executive leadership on supply chain health, risk posture, and strategy.
Essential Functions

  • Apply strong verbal and written communication skills to influence cross‑functional teams and external partners.
  • Work across a variety of contract types (e.g., FFP, FPIF, T&M, Labor Hour, Cost Reimbursement with fixed‑fee, incentive fee, or award fee).
  • Act as Cost Account Manager for Supply Chain, managing budgets and sales forecasts.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (TS/SCI preferred but not required to start).
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree with a minimum of 12 years of prior related experience, OR Graduate degree with a minimum of 10 years of prior related experience. In lieu of a degree, minimum of 16 years of prior related experience.
  • Demonstrated mastery of program and supply chain management in complex aerospace, defense, or space hardware environments.
