• A seat at the center of it, owning how material gets planned, sourced, and delivered against cost and schedule

• Coordination with planning to keep the production line fed

• Several years in material program management, supply chain program management, or program management within defense, aerospace, or another regulated manufacturing environment
• Command of program material planning, supplier management, and earned value (EVM) concepts
• Comfort leading cross‑functionally without direct authority and holding your own with senior leadership
• Familiarity with government contracting and customer flowdown requirements
• Strong communication and executive presence
• U.S. citizenship and the ability to hold a U.S. government security clearance

• Program or material management certification such as PMP or APICS CPIM
• Hands‑on earned value management experience
• A background supporting complex hardware programs
