At Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems, we are hiring a Sr. Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join the GSC Planning, Requirements & Delivery organization. The position is located onsite in Melbourne, FL.

• Long‑term capacity and resource planning.
• Aggregate and prioritize demand requirements.
• Analyze purchase material supply/demand using MRP tools.
• Create/reduce supply requirements based on inventory adjustments.
• Participate in long‑term capacity planning to ensure proper scheduling.
• Plan inventory levels based on dependent and independent BOM requirements.
• Ensure vertical and horizontal integration of Global Supply Chain schedules through strategic planning and execution.
• Provide early visibility into purchase requisition requirements and release constraints and material excess review.
• Integrate metrics requirements for the Demand Planning Team.
• Communicate program schedule deviations and coordinate all impacts with internal and external customers before implementation.
• Act as a GSC liaison to Program Operations and GSC Execution IPTs.

• Bachelor’s degree with 8 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment;
• Master’s degree with 6 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment; or
• High School Diploma with 12 years of experience in supply chain and/or material planning in a manufacturing or aerospace environment.
• Proficiency in MS Office tools (Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
• Prior experience with Supply Chain SAP.
• Experience with Material Requirements Planning (MRP).
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret clearance (preferred).

• Experience with Bills of Materials.
• Experience in Master Schedule‑driven requirements.

Primary level salary range: $ – $. The range is a general guideline and may vary based on factors such as scope, responsibilities, experience, education, skills and market conditions.
