Supply Chain- Military Spouse Fellowship

Program Overview

Health First participates in the Department of War Spouse Works program—a 12‑week program that connects military spouses to opportunities for hands‑on training, mentoring, and potentially future employment. Candidates are interviewed and matched with host departments, then complete on‑the‑job training while working five days a week.

To be considered, applicants must be accepted into the Spouse Works program and complete the application in the link below along with the Health First job application.

Health First Supply Chain has opened an opportunity for a fellow with Supply Chain and Project Management experience to create playbooks for our processes. These include Materials Management (logistics and operations), Procurement, Capital Equipment Sourcing, Clinical Sourcing, and Purchased Services Sourcing.

Our playbook content has been created by each Director. This fellow would help develop the content into a uniform document, as well as walk through each process to ensure it is mapped to our updated Kaizen results.

• Create playbooks for Materials Management, Procurement, Capital Equipment Sourcing, Clinical Sourcing, and Purchased Services Sourcing.
• Work with Directors to develop uniform playbook content.
• Walk through each process to ensure it is mapped to updated Kaizen results.

• Supply Chain and Project Management experience.
• Accepted into the Spouse Works program.
