Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Planning Specialist to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals.
Essential Functions- Release Work Orders in SAP based on Master Scheduling.
- Provide kit list and pick list to kitting team.
- Assist with all Stock Purge.
- Process loans.
- Process SMO of Make components.
- Manage Call Boards.
- Quarterly MRP Exception Report (MMAS requirement).
- Reconciling inventory discrepancies.
- Cross‑functional collaboration on non‑conformance dispositions, scraps, RTV, internal supplier rework (PPRW).
- Final kit verifications prior to release.
- Bachelor’s degree with 2 years of experience, or Master’s degree, or in lieu of degree with 6 years of experience.
- Experience in supply chain, procurement, logistics, or another relevant field.
- Experience with Microsoft Office.
- Experience in SAP, ERP or other related business software.
- Good organizational skills and ability to multi‑task.
- Self‑motivated and able to work as a teammate and independently.
- Ability to perform 50% desk work and 50% production floor integration responsibilities with ability to lift up to 25 pounds.
- Ability to obtain and maintain an active U.S. government Secret Clearance with investigation completed in the last 5 years, and Program Special Access within a reasonable period of time after starting.
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.
- Experience with an ERP system, specifically SAP, desired.
- Prior warehousing experience.
- Knowledge of parts protection and packaging process.
- Experience in Aerospace Manufacturing.
- MES program experience.
- Experience in production planning process.
- Working knowledge with Total Quality Management and/or Procurement, and/or Supplier Quality Assurance.
- Active DOD Secret Clearance with investigation completed in the last 5 years (to apply/start) and ability to obtain and maintain Program Special Access within a reasonable period after starting.
Primary Level Salary Range: $65,500.00 - $98,300.00. The above range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
