Duration: 6+ months (possible extension)

Shift hours: Day shift 6:30 am to 3:00 pm (M-W-F OR M-T-W OR T-W-TH OR W-TH-F) (24 hours week) // Night shift: 3 PM to 11 PM (Sunday/ Monday) (16 hours week)

• FL DL needed.
• Cleaning/Janitorial experience.
• Driver's License.
• High school.
• The Airport Custodian maintains cleanliness and sanitation throughout airport facilities, ensuring a safe and pleasant environment for passengers and staff. This role requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

• Operate and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools; buffers, auto scrubbers, extractors, high pressure washers, high speed buffers and vacuums, brooms, mops, and squeegees for the cleaning and general maintenance of floors, walls, carpets, furniture, etc.
• Cleans office areas, stairways, jet ways, commercial aircraft and elevators.
• Wash walls and mirrors and use ladders when required in work assignments.
• Secure building when facilities not in use checking for unlocked doors and windows, report any unauthorized occupants.
• Follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies.
• Perform cleaning and related activities such as removing debris from sidewalks and stairs in areas within of buildings using hand-operated tools or small power equipment.
• Move furniture, equipment, supplies and tools on an incidental basis.
• Wash accessible interior and exterior windows and blinds.
• Assist with inventory control.
• Safely operate all vehicles and other job related equipment.
