Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Facility Manager to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in janitorial and maintenance services and proficiency in bilingual communication to effectively coordinate with a diverse team and clientele. The Assistant Facility Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of the property, while delivering exceptional service standards.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily janitorial and maintenance operations to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility.
- Assist in scheduling and supervising maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
- Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services.
- Monitor inventory levels of maintenance and janitorial supplies, and order as needed.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
- Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and address any facility needs or issues.
- Maintain detailed records and reports of maintenance activities and expenses.
- Provide bilingual support to staff, effectively bridging communication gaps.
- Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
- Proven experience in janitorial and maintenance operations.
- Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
- Familiarity with facility management software and tools is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification or training in maintenance or facility management is a plus.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and inspections.
- Availability for on-call support in case of emergencies.
