We are currently seeking a reliable and motivated Assistant Facility Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, FL.

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Assistant Facility Manager to support the efficient operation of our facilities. This role requires a strong background in janitorial and maintenance services and proficiency in bilingual communication to effectively coordinate with a diverse team and clientele. The Assistant Facility Manager will play a pivotal role in ensuring the upkeep, safety, and functionality of the property, while delivering exceptional service standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily janitorial and maintenance operations to ensure the cleanliness and functionality of the facility.
  • Assist in scheduling and supervising maintenance tasks, repairs, and inspections.
  • Coordinate with contractors and vendors for specialized services.
  • Monitor inventory levels of maintenance and janitorial supplies, and order as needed.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards, regulations, and company policies.
  • Conduct regular walkthroughs to identify and address any facility needs or issues.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports of maintenance activities and expenses.
  • Provide bilingual support to staff, effectively bridging communication gaps.
  • Assist in developing and implementing preventative maintenance plans.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience in janitorial and maintenance operations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in Spanish.
  • Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
  • Familiarity with facility management software and tools is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to delivering quality results.
Educational Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Certification or training in maintenance or facility management is a plus.
Additional Requirements
  • Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks and inspections.
  • Availability for on-call support in case of emergencies.
