Position SummaryTo be fully engaged in providing Quality/No Harm, Customer Experience, and Stewardship by providing effective and efficient oversight and facilitation of a range of duties and responsibilities performed by the team in the radiology and provider suites.
Primary AccountabilitiesQuality/No Harm:
- Ensures that the organizational plan, mission, vision and values are communicated to the radiology team and integrated into the team’s goals, objectives and work plan.
- Provide direction and guidance from within the suite by serving as a coach, facilitator and/or negotiator.
- Completes employee evaluations, new employee orientation, and overall performance assessment of the employees by relaying information and training needs to supervisors. May assist Site Manager during the interviewing and hiring process for new employees.
- Answers internal and external customer inquiries, directing messages to the appropriate individuals.
- Keeps accurate record of radiology personnel’s bi-monthly dosimetry reports.
Customer
Experience:
- Identifies and addresses informal complaints of patients or employees and referring formal issues to immediate supervisors or appropriate departmental directors.
- Provide a communication channel for Site Manager and other departments.
- Attends bi-monthly Supervisor meetings and disseminate information to the office staff.
- Communicates effectively both verbally and written with physicians, supervisors, co-workers, patients and vendors.
Stewardship:
- Assists Site Manager with implementing and ensuring compliance with policies.
- Coordinates staff planning and coverage needs with other Team Leads and Site Manager.
- Responsible for monitoring/adjusting employee time cards, PL hours, overtime, approving timecards as well as informing supervisor of attendance and/or behavior issues.
- Responsible for reporting to supervisor and/or appropriate departmental supervisor any technical, mechanical or electrical issues as well as suite maintenance needs or problems.
- Oversees the ordering of supplies. Assist Site Manager with budget process regarding capital, and expense requests.
QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED:
- Associates Degree in radiology from an accredited radiologic program.
- ARRT certification.
- Florida State radiology licensure.
- Bachelor’s Degree or 5 year RT experience preferred for lead position.
- Knowledge of MS word processing software, database software, the internet, MS access database software, MS excel spreadsheet software and presentation software. IDX, logician.
- Regularly required to stand, sit, use hands to feel, talk and hear.
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
- Maintains confidentiality.
- Coordinate and manage multiple tasks on an ongoing basis.
- Adapt to changing organizational requirements and business applications.
