Position OverviewNorthrop Grumman Aeronautics Sector is seeking a Manager 2, Program Planning on our Schedule Management team. This leadership role is located on-site in Melbourne, FL. This position must be onsite every day and have an active DoD Secret Clearance.

- Manage a team of Program Planning & Scheduling Analysts
- Perform mid-year and year-end performance reviews
- Develop direct team knowledge and depth
- Prepare, develop and coordinate the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) to meet all program objectives.
- Ensure program schedules are horizontally and vertically integrated.
- Provide weekly status and reporting
- Conduct Integrated Baseline Reviews (I ) and Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSR) audits
- Implement scheduling best practices as prescribed by industry to include, but not limited to:
- DCMA 14-point
- IPMR DI-MGMT-81861
- NDIA EIA-748 32 Guidelines
- Earned Value Management System (EVMS)
- Critical Path Methodology (CPM)
- Schedule Risk Analysis (SRA)
- Schedule Performance and Health Metrics and Analysis
- Perform detailed schedule, resource, work, and cost analysis and make recommendations to solve problems
- Create presentation content and present to various levels of leadership
- Work effectively with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and the Program/Project Manager
- Bachelor’s Degree with 7 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience; OR Master’s degree with 5 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience OR Associate's Degree with 9 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience OR High School Diploma/GED with 11 years of Planning & Scheduling, Program Cost Schedule Control, Finance, Pricing, Program/Project Management, or Engineering Scheduling experience
- Knowledge of Integrated Master Plan (IMP) and Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development;
Schedule Risk - Experience and knowledge in both EV Cost and Schedule Management
- Experience with the Assessment (SRA) approach and execution
- Maintain final adjudicated US government Secret clearance (must be in‑scope or enrolled in Continuous Evaluation) and any program access required for the position within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the Company.
