Overview
Responsible for managing V2X and USG furnished property, including general and information technology (IT) property. Manages property as outlined in associated property and logistics instructions, regulations, and manuals (DoDI, DAFI, and AFMAN.) Oversees disposition of excess property, lifecycle replacement, and accountability of new equipment. Coordinates with USG property managers and V2X property custodians to ensure measures are taken to safeguard property.
Establishes and oversees monthly, quarterly, and annual inventories, as applicable.
Coordinates with DLA-DS for disposal of equipment and ensures proper documentation is prepared and achieved. Supports Retrograde (Ascension to CONUS) cargo shipments from Ascension via Government contracted vessels for SLD 45 requirements and AAAF approved tenants. This includes items that need to be dispositioned or disposed of via 45 LRS and DLA specified processes. Coordinates shipping for turn-in and shipment to/from Ascension Island.
Maintains accuracy in hand receipts, stores and issues materials, equipment, and other items from stockroom, warehouse, storage yard or material control point to ensure continual accountability of government property.
Must be able to maintain a professional and transparent relationship with internal or external auditing entities. Provides training, mentoring, and directions for the effective and efficient management of government property. This is a supervisor position with relevant supervisory and administrative duties.
Responsibilities- Oversee the Property Management program for V2X and USG property. Establish SOPs, policies, inventory schedules, property custodian responsibilities, prepare and submit all related CDRLs requirements, coordinate lifecycle replacement, and disposal.
- Ensure compliance with the V2X Property Control Plan, Performance Work Statement (PWS)/ CDRL’s, Federal Acquisition Regulations (Part 45 and 52.245-1), and other company policies and procedures.
- Department level management of the GFE accounts with the USSF Property Office and the ITEC manager to ensure accuracy and compliance of records.
- Responsible for managing the preparation, palletizing, documentation, and deliveries of all equipment required to support BOS requirements. Ensure appropriate documentation is complete and submitted to the Logistics Readiness Squadron (LRS) for air and sealift transportation.
- Manages Inventories: 100%, cyclic, random, and sensitive items.
- Prepare and submit reports to the government providing detailed information on routine and special reports.
- Develop and manage the inventory management program, to include coordinating and conducting property accountability inventories. Prepare inventory records and submit them to the appropriate USG property office per the PWS.
- Reviews, records, and provides recommendations on all property governance to internal and external stakeholders.
- Performs data analysis, risk assessments, and resource requirements.
- Perform duties relating to requesting, receiving, issuing, accountability, and preservation of all government property, and review work for accuracy and compliance with established procedures.
- Department level management of movement and transport of government property and material.
- Identify excess government property in the work areas and disposition appropriately.
- Prepares DD Form 1384, Transportation Control Movement Documents (TCMDs) and verify all documentation prior to loading and boarding of the aircraft.
- Perform other duties as assigned to include logistics and/or supply driven requirements.
- Required to travel up to 4 times per year to Ascension Island for a duration of 1 to 3 months per trip, at the discretion of the Site Manager.
