Role Description

We are seeking a motivated, relationship-driven, and strategic Director of Sales to join our Hyatt Place Melbourne Airport team in Melbourne, FL. This is a full-time, on-site role responsible for creating and implementing sales strategies to drive revenue, building strong relationships with clients, managing sales operations, and generating new business opportunities across corporate and group market segments. The Director of Sales will collaborate closely with hotel leadership to maximize hotel performance, expand business opportunities, and elevate client satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Proven experience in Sales and Sales Operations, with a track record of achieving and exceeding revenue targets.
  • Strong experience managing and growing corporate transient negotiated accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience generating and managing group business across multiple market segments.
  • Strong abilities in Customer Service, maintaining client relationships, and ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Demonstrated success in Team Management, leadership, and fostering a high-performance team environment.
  • Experience in Business Development, identifying opportunities, and building strategic partnerships.
  • Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, presentation, and communication skills.
  • Experience developing sales plans, forecasts, and revenue strategies.
Requirements
  • Must be willing to work on-site in Melbourne, Florida.
  • Minimum of 3 years of hotel sales management experience required.
  • Experience with Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, IHG, or other major hotel brands is strongly preferred.
