Position Summary
Provides management oversight of the Facilities & Construction department nning, organizing and directing the overall operation of the Facilities division at multiple locations, including a 500+ bed tertiary hospital and level 2 trauma center. The Manager is responsible for the compliance of regulations and standards for regulatory agencies such as Joint Commission, OSHA, AHCA and NFPA. The Manager organizes and directs the team on fulfilling department and hospital goals, oversight of operating and capital budgets, and ensures facility work orders and preventative maintenance services are completed successfully.
Along with Safety Officer, ensures that all safety, life safety, and environment of care measures are adhered to. Also assists the construction team in safe and timely implementation of projects.
Primary Accountabilities
Assists Director in preparing quarterly forecast, reviews monthly operating reports and evaluates variances, and ensures all invoices are paid on a timely basisObtains bids for contract work pertaining to maintenance or new installations and ensures proper installation services or products in a timely and correct mannerActively monitors energy usage and coordinates activities to reduce consumptionAssists Director with developing and implementing long range plans for maintenance and facilitiesMonitors and controls team member productivity to ensure effective use of personnel resources within approved financial resourcesEnsures all Life Safety and Environment of Care measures are adhered toEnsures the proper response to and manages emergency situations including disaster response, power/ other utilities loss, floods, etcAssists construction team with construction activities which supports a safe and healthy work environmentSchedules, coordinates and oversees work orders and preventative maintenance programs and ensures they are completed and documented within appropriate time framesDevelops and maintains records of all mechanical equipment and schedules periodic maintenance of this equipmentCoordinates with Clinical and Infection Control teams to minimize disruption in patient care delivery and hospital work flowsOversees compliance with Joint Commission, AHCA, NFPA, OSHA, and all other regulatory agency requirements, ensures testing and inspections for all these agencies are accomplished in the appropriate timeline, and participates in regulatory agency surveys and inspections.Leadership Accountabilities

Minimum Qualifications
- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent. - Work Experience:
Two (2) years leadership experience.Five (5) years of Healthcare Facilities experience.- Licensure:

Preffered Qualifications
- Education:
Bachelor's degree in relevant field. - Certification:
Certified Healthcare Facility Manager (CHFM).
