Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Construction for a full‑time, direct hire leadership opportunity in Melbourne, FL. This role supports a growing industrial construction organization and is ideal for a senior construction operations leader who can oversee multiple complex projects, manage financial performance, develop strong teams, and build long‑term client relationships.
This is not a traditional Project Manager or Construction Manager position. The Operations Manager – Construction will lead an established construction business unit, guide project teams, support business development efforts, and help drive operational growth. This is an excellent opportunity for a business‑minded construction professional who enjoys strategic leadership, hands‑on operational oversight, and the ability to influence the continued success of a high‑performing division.

Key Responsibilities- Provide overall operational leadership for an industrial construction division overseeing multiple concurrent projects.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Project Managers, Superintendents, Coordinators, and field leadership teams.
- Manage divisional financial performance, including P&L ownership, budgeting, forecasting, job costing, and cash flow management.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with owners, clients, engineers, subcontractors, and industry partners.
- Support business development, proposal strategy, contract negotiations, and strategic growth initiatives.
- Ensure projects are executed safely, on schedule, within budget, and in alignment with quality and performance standards.
- Salary: $100,000 to $130,000 per year, depending on experience.
