Electronics Technician, Systems Engineer
PGS Worldwide is seeking a Cable & Harness Technician in Melbourne, FL for a 1-year contract-to-hire role supporting a leading aerospace & defense company. This is an onsite production role focused on manufacturing cable and harness assemblies by working from work instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings while maintaining strict quality, documentation, and traceability standards. An active DoD Secret clearance is required to start, with the ability to obtain Special Access Program (SAP) access.

High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of additional education and/or related experience
Active DoD Secret clearance and ability to obtain SAP access within a reasonable period
Ability to read and interpret engineering work instructions and schematics
Strong attention to detail and ability to execute repetitive work with completeness and accuracy
Ability to perform moderate physical work, including repetitive tasks and occasional lifting up to 50 lbs
High School Diploma (or equivalent) plus 4 years of additional education and/or related experience
Technical degree or some college
Hands-on mechanical assembly experience
Exposure to electronics testing and/or electronics evaluation
Manufacture cable and harness products using work instructions, schematics, wirelists, and drawings
Verify material identification and maintain traceability throughout fabrication and testing
Perform moderate-complexity fabrication and quality validation, ensuring hardware meets requirements
Label and store materials per engineering and planning requirements
Follow operation sheets and ISO procedures; communicate inconsistencies, deviations, or safety concerns to the appropriate personnel
Provide status updates and raise technical issues to shop leads and work center management
Support lab fabrication and related processes in a team-based environment
4x10 schedule (Monday–Thursday)
