Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has openings for Manager Programs 2, to support multiple shifts within our Manufacturing and Production organization. This leadership position will be in Melbourne, Florida. This position is on-site and cannot be performed remotely due to the nature of the role Candidate will serve as the Chief Product Owner (CPO) for the Maintenance Training System and Design Agile Release Team (ART) on a restricted program operating within a Scaled Agile Framework.
The CPO guides multiple product teams, ensuring that their work is aligned with the overall product vision and strategy. They coordinate with Solution Train Leadership, providing higher-level strategic input and decision-making to meet both business needs and courseware development objectives. The candidate will be responsible for the planning and execution of the Training System Requirements Analysis (TSRA), the development of all maintenance training courseware, and will support the standup and utilization of a LMS/LCMS to support the program.
The successful candidate will manage metrics to drive outcomes for cost/schedule, engage in process improvements, and ensure the quality of training courseware products and implementation of Instructional System Design (ISD) practices during Training development. Must be willing to work a flexible work schedule that may include extended shifts, holidays, weekends and support on-call status when necessary.
Responsibilities include:
* Leading a diverse team of core learning and development professionals in a fast-paced environment to establish, plan, and deliver recommended solutions to functional requirements associated with program and Training System requirements
* Leveraging the instructional design (ISD) process to conduct needs analysis, develop learning objectives, design learning content, and measure effectiveness of Maintenance training
* Developing task lists, objectives, syllabi and training products according to DoD, USAF and AF Global Strike Command operating instructions and Instructional System Design (ISD)
* Providing input to meet new training requirements and incorporating updated technical information
* Collaborating with other subject-matter experts (SMEs) to identify specific training needs and develop solutions for satisfying unique skills-based training requirements

Basic Qualifications:
* Bachelors degree and 10 years (or Bachelor of Science in STEM and 9 years) of related experience as defined below, OR a Master's degree and 8 years (or Master of Science in STEM and 7 years) of related experience as defined below.
* Related experience includes professional and/or military experience to include a background in: leadership, project management, program management, engineering, capture efforts, and/or business management related functions.
* Experience working on Agile teams
* Experience with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, as well as Jira and Confluence
* Must have an active DoD Secret (or higher) clearance (with a background investigation within the past 6 years or enrolled into Continuous Evaluation) with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance; must be able to attain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR/SAP) within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs.
