Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for Aircraft Sheet metal Technician Level 2 located on site in Melbourne, Florida
. This position is for 1st shift, Monday - Thursday 6am - 4:30pm (4-10 schedule).

• Use a variety of fabrication hand tools and precision measuring instruments to make standard shop computations relating to dimensions of work.
• Work from blueprints, sketches, work instructions, both written and verbal.
• Operate various fabrication equipment, such as shear, sheet metal brake, rollers, grinders, and presses.
• Learn and perform other job functions with OJT when required.
• Apply mechanical aptitude and think through problems with forming.

• High School diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 2 years of sheet metal fabrication experience.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance within a reasonable amount of time; not required to start.
• Ability to follow written, electronic, and verbal instructions and work with minimal supervision.
• Read and understand blueprints.
• Ability to wear a respirator and other safety gear.

• Advanced knowledge of flat pattern layout and sheet metal brake operation.
• DoD Secret Clearance.

• Primary Level Salary Range: $44,400.00 - $74,000.00. Salary determined by scope of responsibilities, experience, education, skills, and market conditions.
• Eligible for overtime, shift differential, and discretionary bonus. Annual bonuses reward individual contributions and company results.
