Position Summary
Start your journey as a Sr. Engineering Technician. In this role you will provide technical and tooling support to production for continuous improvement with focus on quality issues, productivity, cost reduction, effective corrective actions and safety.
Are You Looking to:- Apply job knowledge and skills to improve productivity, quality and timeliness, and to solve problems, using good judgment.
- Implement new technologies or methods.
- Operate equipment and use tools and techniques effectively, efficiently and in accordance with ergonomic principles.
- Assist in the development and maintenance of detailed work instructions and visual aids for product assembly. Implement procedures that ensure continued operational excellence throughout the plant.
- Interpret technical documentation related to product manufacturing and acceptability such as schematics; engineering drawings, customer controlled specifications, and military/industry standards.
- Assist in implementations, improvements, and maintenance of all key matrices. Assist in recording, summarizing, and presenting data/information significant to department operations.
- Set‑up and operate different types of mechanical, electronic, and precision measurement equipment. Provides support and test procedures for quality acceptance.
- Participate in Lean Manufacturing activities.
- AAS in a related discipline is required.
- 3-5 years relevant manufacturing and/or quality experience.
- BS degree in an Engineering or related discipline may be used in lieu of experience.
- Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.
