Quality Inspector II – Final Inspection
Location:
US-FL-Melbourne (311 ~ 1100 W Hibiscus Blvd, BLDG 311).
2nd Shift: Monday – Friday, 3:00PM – 11:30PM. Shift flexibility for training, maintaining workflow, and overtime may be required.
Responsibilities- Work applicable written inspection procedures, drawings, and other instructions to plan and perform dimensional and visual inspection on parts, tools, and equipment.
- Accept material or refer for rework/quality review based on findings.
- Use fixed or variable measuring instruments as required by work instructions to check dimensions and record results.
- Perform simple mathematical computations to determine pass/fail results based on tolerance.
- Follow proper procedures to perform inspection checks and verify dimensions, ensuring Work Instructions are followed.
- Arrange for repair or calibration of measuring equipment as necessary.
- Support and promote continuous improvement activities to meet business objectives.
- Maintain Inspection stamp.
- Manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously, including shift flexibility for training and workflow, and overtime.
- High school diploma or equivalent (e.g., GED) with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
- Inspection experience in a production environment.
- Basic blueprint reading ability.
- Familiarity with precision measuring equipment.
- Basic computer skills.
- Basic shop math.
