Material Handler

Job located in Melbourne, Florida. Full‑time, Local travel up to 10%. Requires SECRET security clearance.

• Supports and assists activities within multiple warehouse and inventory control disciplines across the Supply Chain and Production processes.
• Manually moves, monitors, and issues materials by picking/pulling items to fill pick lists and support Manufacturing Orders released by Production/Material Planners.
• Responsible for the storage, distribution, inventory management, and record maintenance of material items.
• Performs required cycle counts and maintains records to monitor and support inventory accuracy.
• Reads and follows work orders and verbal instructions to determine material items to be moved.
• Loads, unloads, and moves materials within or near warehouse, stockroom, storage facilities, or manufacturing floor.
• Loads and unloads materials onto or from pallets, trays, racks, and shelves by hand.
• Provides materials to and from inventory locations or worksites to designated areas, including the manufacturing floor, using hand trucks, electric dollies, forklifts, or other tools.
• Counts, weighs, and records materials moved or handled in an ERP system.
• Supports or completes monthly, quarterly, and yearly inventory audits.
• Lift up to 50 pounds, use a rolling ladder up to 12 feet, and reach for items on shelves.
• Spends considerable time standing, bending, walking to and from the warehouse and other areas/buildings.
• Prioritizes and multitasks daily workload.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).

• US citizenship due to contract requirements.
• Ability to obtain a SECRET security clearance.
• High school diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process.
• Valid Driver’s License.

• Forklift/reach truck experience.
• 5 years of experience in a warehouse environment supporting the manufacturing process for a defense contractor.
• Active SECRET security clearance.
• Bachelor’s degree.
• Experience using Costpoint.
• Class A CDL.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask daily work.
• Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.).
