Job Title: Manufacturing Specialist I - Assembly

Schedule: 9x80, 7:00am-4:30pm
About the Opportunity:
Join a production team and contribute to the assembly of high-quality products that meet customer expectations for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. In this role, you will perform entry-level assembly and production tasks by following work instructions, drawings, and established procedures while supporting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining a safe, team-oriented work environment.
- Assemble mechanical, cable, harness, printed circuit board, and other sub-assemblies according to work instructions, drawings, and production requirements.
- Perform basic assembly operations, including hardware installation, wire preparation, sleeving, auto-bonding, pull testing, and torque tool usage.
- Inspect work for quality and accuracy, perform basic troubleshooting, and ensure products meet prescribed standards and customer requirements.
- Safely operate production tools and equipment while adhering to all safety procedures, WHMIS requirements, and personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines.
- Access and utilize production resources such as routers, parts lists, work instructions, and other manufacturing documentation.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives by participating in Lean events, 6S activities, and team-based problem-solving efforts.

Job RequirementsWhat You'll Bring
- High School Diploma
- 1 year minimum of assembly experience
- Ability to access and use production tools and manufacturing documentation, including routers, parts lists, and work instructions, and perform wire preparation, auto-bonding, and sleeving processes
- Strong decision-making and leadership skills
- Basic computer skills
- Able to bend, lift and be on feet for extended periods of time
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
