About the OpportunityJoin a growing electronics manufacturing team where your precision, attention to detail, and soldering expertise directly contribute to the production of high-quality circuit board assemblies. As a Hand Solder Operator II, you will play a critical role in assembling and soldering electronic components using both Through‑Hole and Surface Mount Technologies (SMT).

What You'll DoFollow assembly procedures, work instructions, and process documentation
Verify material integrity prior to assembly
Assemble and solder electronic components onto printed circuit boards using Through‑Hole and Surface Mount Technology techniques
Inspect circuit board assemblies to determine soldering requirements and ensure quality standards are met
Pre‑form component leads according to process specifications
Identify, document, and report defective components or materials
Maintain accuracy of work‑in‑process documentation and production records
Ensure cleanliness and organization of assigned work areas and surrounding workspace
Maintain ESD compliance within the production environment
Understand and follow all ISO standards and job‑specific procedures
Support continuous quality and process improvement efforts
Assist with training and mentoring other employees as needed

Job Requirements What You'll Bring- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum 3 years of experience in hand‑soldering Printed Circuit Board (PCB) assemblies
- Active IPC J-STD-001 Certification or minimum of 1 year of experience with soldering in Collins
- IPC-A-610 Certification
- Experience with soldering jumper wire on Printed Circuit Board Assembly
- ESD Training
- Knowledge of ISO
9001 and IPC Standards. - Ability to work and communicate effectively as a team member.
- Self‑motivated, ability to work independently and quickly with a high degree of accuracy
- Ability to read procedures and interpret visual aids.
- Basic computer skills, problem solving and workstation skills.
- Experience with high‑volume work.
- Must have the ability to operate in a multi‑tasking, highly dynamic work environment.
- Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
