Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an opening for an Electronic Technician - Level 2/3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals within our Lab Test organization. This position is located in Melbourne, FL.

Please note:

A start date, for candidates selected, will be determined after obtaining Special Program Access (SAP). In this role, you will be performing a variety of tasks that will be done in a Electronic and Lab assembly area. You will be working with a team or individually in a dynamic R&D fabrication environment.

Key Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to:
* Maintaining the Lab space including 5's and tool control.
* Assembling and building Cable harness and Rack assemblies.
* Supporting development engineering activities such as design, test, checkout, fabrication, modification, and assembly of electronic systems.
* Conducting routine testing, troubleshooting, prototype building, and developmental engineering tasks.
* Performing operational tests to ensure conformance with design specifications.
* Diagnosing and isolating malfunctions down to the component level.
* Conducting engineering tests and collecting data.
* Provides technical support to engineers on a variety of technical tasks. This role will be filled at either a Electronic Test Technician 2 or 3 based on the relevant experience required for each role. Basic Qualifications Level 2:
* High School diploma or equivalent and 2 years additional education and/or related experience.

* Must have an active U.S. Government Secret Clearance or higher clearance, with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation

* Must have ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (PAR) within a reasonable period, as determined by the company to meet its business needs, prior to the start of employment

* Must be willing to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and off-shifts to support the business needs.
* Must be willing to obtain and maintain the appropriate medical clearance(s), as defined per the customer's contracting requirements, for the duration of your employment.
* Ability to wear a respirator or other safety gear

* Ability to frequently move and position objects weighing 50lbs and work with hazardous-materials, in accordance with safety regulations.

* Demonstrated experience with mechanical assemblies, electrical systems, and/or fabrication. Basic Qualifications Level 3:
