The Marketing and Communications Coordinator serves as the primary on-site marketing contact for Saint Francis Hospice and acts as a liaison with the Treasure Health marketing team.

This position gathers stories, photos, videos, event information, and organizational updates for social media, public relations, recruitment, fundraising, website content, and other marketing initiatives. The coordinator also supports promotional purchasing, campaign coordination, reputation management, contact-form routing, and community outreach. Some support for Treasure Coast Hospice and other Treasure Health initiatives will be required.

  • Serve as the primary marketing contact for Saint Francis Hospice.
  • Gather stories, photos, videos, quotes, and event details for marketing and communications.
  • Build relationships with employees, leaders, volunteers, and community partners to identify promotional opportunities.
  • Coordinate cross-channel marketing and fundraising campaigns, track effectiveness, and manage costs to support Saint Francis Hospice’s outreach and fundraising goals.
  • Coordinate community event and sponsorship opportunities between departments to ensure consistent planning, messaging, branding, and participation.
  • Support local media outreach by identifying potential stories, gathering information, coordinating interviews, and working with the Marketing team on media opportunities.
  • Monitor website contact-form submissions and route inquiries promptly to the appropriate departments or team members.
  • Support the online reputation of Saint Francis Hospice and its healthcare providers by monitoring profiles, coordinating updates, and helping respond to reviews and feedback.
  • Identify opportunities to strengthen awareness of Saint Francis Hospice’s services, programs, employees, and community impact.
  • Obtain appropriate photo, video, and media permissions.
  • Take photos and short videos at approved events and activities.
  • Coordinate promotional products, printed materials, signage, apparel, and event supplies.
  • Request vendor pricing, review proofs, track orders, and coordinate delivery.
  • Assist with events, sponsor ships, photo shoots, video shoots, media visits, and recruitment marketing.
  • Maintain marketing materials, campaign information, event details, and project deadlines.
  • Ensure materials follow Treasure Health branding and organizational guidelines.
  • Communicate marketing needs, campaign results, inquiries, and project updates to the Director of Marketing.
  • Support Treasure Coast Hospice and other Treasure Health marketing projects as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, public relations, business, or a related field preferred but not required.
  • Relevant marketing, communications, event, administrative, fundraising, or community-relations experience.
  • Strong writing, communication, organization, and proofreading skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and work independently.
  • Comfortable taking photos and videos with a smartphone.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, email, calendars, social media, and common digital platforms.
  • Familiarity with online review platforms, website forms, campaign tracking, or reputation-management tools preferred.
  • Healthcare, hospice, nonprofit, or community-outreach experience is helpful but not required.

Additional Requirements

  • Ability to travel locally and occasionally work evenings or weekends for events.
  • Reliable transportation and a valid driver’s license.
  • Ability to lift and carry materials weighing up to 25 pounds.
  • Must maintain confidentiality and follow all HIPAA, privacy, media-consent, and photo-release requirements.
