Circles of Care, Inc. is seeking an experienced and dynamic Nurse Manager to lead Harbor Pines our 50-bed Inpatient Crisis Stabilization Unit. The Nurse Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily clinical and administrative operations of the unit, ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care for individuals experiencing acute psychiatric and behavioral health crises.
This role provides leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff while promoting a therapeutic, safe, and recovery-focused environment. The Nurse Manager works collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in behavioral health care.
- Provide leadership and clinical oversight for the nursing staff within the Crisis Stabilization Unit.
- Ensure high-quality, patient-centered care for individuals experiencing psychiatric or behavioral health crises.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor nursing staff to promote professional development and high performance.
- Monitor and ensure accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with facility policies and regulatory requirements.
- Participate in performance improvement initiatives, audits, and quality assurance activities.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, case managers, and other treatment team members to coordinate care.
- Ensure compliance with state, federal, and accreditation standards for behavioral health facilities.
- Assist in staff recruitment, orientation, training, and competency evaluations.
- Address staff concerns, resolve conflicts, and promote a positive team culture.
- Respond to patient and family concerns and ensure appropriate follow-up.
- Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Florida (or eligible for licensure).
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree preferred.
- 3–5 years of nursing experience in behavioral health or psychiatric care.
- Minimum of 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
- Experience working in crisis stabilization, inpatient psychiatry, or acute behavioral health settings strongly preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- Ability to effectively manage high-acuity psychiatric populations.
- Knowledge of regulatory standards, quality improvement, and risk management in behavioral health.

Our 50-bed inpatient crisis stabilization program provides short-term, intensive psychiatric care for individuals experiencing acute mental health crises. The program focuses on stabilization, safety, rapid assessment, and transition to appropriate levels of care.
