Location: Melbourne, FL
Schedule: Full-Time | 12-Hour Shifts

• Day

Shift: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM

• Night

Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
Pay Rate: Up to $40/hour (based on experience)
plus shift differentials

About the Role

Melbourne Healthcare and Rehabilitation is seeking a compassionate and skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our clinical team. This role is vital in ensuring high-quality resident care, clinical excellence, and compliance with state and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise nursing staff and ensure residents receive exceptional care in accordance with individualized care plans and regulatory standards
  • Coordinate and delegate nursing assignments based on resident acuity and staff qualifications
  • Provide leadership, guidance, and mentorship to nursing staff, including onboarding and ongoing education
  • Collaborate with physicians, therapists, social workers, and other interdisciplinary team members to deliver comprehensive care
  • Respond promptly and effectively to medical emergencies and changes in resident condition
  • Maintain accurate documentation and uphold best practices in patient safety and clinical care
  • Perform additional job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited school of nursing
  • Current, valid Florida RN license
  • CPR certification required
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care or a related healthcare setting
  • Strong clinical judgment, assessment, and critical-thinking skills
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities
