Position Details

Salary:
Starts at $23.00 - $26.22 /hr (rate increases based on education and relevant experience).

Schedule:

Full‑Time and Part‑Time. Flexible schedules. 8‑hour shifts (3pm - 11pm). Must be available for 1 weekend shift per week.

Responsible for ensuring client care by providing medications, ensuring regular medical checkups, keeping medical files updated, serving as an open line of communication with clients’ families and medical staff (doctors, therapists, other nurses), supporting a therapeutic environment, and ensuring the safety and well‑being of the individuals we serve.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing:
  Associate’s Degree or Diploma required
• Board certification:
  Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida
• Must be able to complete a two‑week (Mon - Fri) new‑hire orientation class; hours approximately 9:00am to 5:00pm each day. Orientation held in Titusville, FL.
• 2 years of nursing experience or relevant experience with DJJ, IDD, or psychiatric populations in a group home or residential facility preferred.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings (Drug Test, Physical, TB Test).
• Proficiency in nursing assessment skills and basic software programs.
• Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida (information at ).
