Position Details

Salary:
Starts at $32.00 - $37.30/hr (rate is based on education and relevant experience).

Schedule:

Full‑time with flexible schedules.

• Provide medications and ensure regular medical checkups for clients.
• Keep medical files up to date.
• Maintain open communication with clients’ family and medical staff (doctors, therapists, other nurses).
• Support a therapeutic environment and ensure safety and well‑being of individuals served.

• 8‑hour shifts (3 pm – 11 pm); 5 days a week.
• Must be available for one weekend shift per week.

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing:
  Associate’s Degree or Diploma required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing strongly preferred.
• Board certification:
  Licensed Practical Nurse in the State of Florida required;
  Registered Nurse in Florida preferred.

• Must complete a two‑week (Monday–Friday) new hire orientation class; hours 9:00 am to 5:00 pm each day, offered in Orlando, FL and Titusville, FL.
• 2 years of nursing experience or previous experience working with DJJ, IDD, or psychiatric population in a group home or residential facility preferred.
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older.
• Valid Florida driver’s license.
• Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings (drug test, physical, TB test).
• Proficient in nursing assessment skills and basic software programs.
• Successfully pass a Level 2 background screening with the State of Florida.
