RN Registered Nurse - Holmes Regional Medical Center
Health First Careers is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate RN Registered Nurse to join our team at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne, Florida. This position will primarily work in the Progressive Care and Med Surg units, providing exceptional care to our patients.
As an RN Registered Nurse at Holmes Regional Medical Center, you will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in accordance with the facility's policies and procedures. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure the best possible outcomes for our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care, including administering medications, monitoring vital signs, and performing treatments as ordered by physicians
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to develop and implement individualized care plans for patients
- Educate patients and their families on disease processes, treatment plans, and self-care techniques
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols at all times
- Act as a patient advocate and ensure that their physical, emotional, and spiritual needs are met
Qualifications:
- Active RN license in the state of Florida
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a hospital setting, preferably in Progressive Care or Med Surg units
- BSN degree preferred
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
