RN Unit Manager

We are seeking a qualified and compassionate RN Unit Manager to join our leadership team.

As an RN Unit Manager, you will play a vital role in overseeing the daily delivery of resident care, leading and developing nursing staff, and partnering with the Director of Nursing to ensure exceptional clinical outcomes. This position is ideal for a strong nurse leader who is passionate about providing high-quality care in a long-term care or skilled nursing environment.

Our Unit Managers serve as trusted liaisons between residents, families, and the interdisciplinary care team while ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and facility regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to nursing staff on assigned units.
  • Assist in maintaining high standards of resident care through quality assurance, infection prevention, and utilization review activities.
  • Receive and communicate physician orders, ensuring timely implementation and coordination across departments.
  • Delegate nursing and therapeutic procedures appropriately to licensed and unlicensed staff.
  • Conduct regular resident rounds to assess physical condition, monitor changes, and ensure quality care delivery.
  • Review and maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop nursing team members to promote professional growth and exceptional resident outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with all company policies, state regulations, and federal guidelines.
Qualifications
  • Current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice.
  • Minimum of two (2) years of nursing experience required.
  • At least one (1) year of supervisory or leadership experience required.
  • Long-term care, skilled nursing, rehabilitation, or geriatric nursing experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to effectively coordinate nursing services with other departments.
  • Strong clinical judgment and attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in reviewing reports, documentation, and resident care data.
