Overview

Animal Specialty & Emergency Center of Brevard is seeking an Emergency Services Doctor to join our growing team in Melbourne, Florida. The ideal candidate will be open to a schedule that includes overnights and may have leadership responsibilities. The position offers leadership opportunities for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities & Qualifications
  • Provide 24‑hour emergency care in a specialty referral hospital.
  • Use diagnostic tools such as CT, fluoroscopy, digital radiography, ultrasonography, endoscopy, laparoscopy/thoracoscopy, ventilatory support, and physical therapy techniques.
  • Perform surgical procedures and assist in full surgical capabilities.
  • Work with a board‑certified dentist, surgeon, emergency clinicians, and rehabilitation therapist.
  • Be experienced in or interested in Emergency Medicine.
  • Offer openness to overnight shifts and readiness to lead when appropriate.

The facility is just a few minutes from the beach on Florida’s east coast. The community is known as the Space Coast and offers a sub‑tropical climate, outdoor activities, and proximity to the Atlantic Ocean, golf courses, beaches, and nearby cities such as Orlando and Miami.
