Dog Groomer – Part-Time

3 Days/Week | Weekends Required | Commission-Based Pay

The SPAW at K9s Place is looking for an experienced, independent Dog Groomer to join our team part-time, approximately three days per week. We are a high-volume, fast-paced facility with lots of moving parts
, so we need someone who is confident in their grooming skills, manages their time well, and can complete the entire grooming process independently from start to finish.

We have a close-knit team, and a positive attitude and being a team player are absolute musts. We are looking for someone who communicates well, is willing to help where needed, and contributes positively to our work environment.

• 2+ years of professional grooming experience preferred
• Must be able to complete a full groom from start to finish without assistance
• Must provide and maintain your own professional grooming tools
• K9s Place provides shampoo and ear cleaner
• Experience with senior dogs, dogs with health concerns, behavioral challenges, and aggressive tendencies is highly preferred
• Must be comfortable grooming dogs of different breeds, sizes, coat types, and temperaments
• Must be able to lift up to 75 lbs
• Strong time-management and organizational skills
• Positive attitude is a must
• Must be a team player
• Dependable, professional, and able to work independently
• Schedule flexibility required
• Weekend availability is required

This is a physically demanding position requiring prolonged standing, bending, reaching, lifting, handling dogs, and repetitive use of grooming tools throughout the workday.

Schedule: Part-time, approximately 3 days per week|
