Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM; every other Saturday, 9:00 AM - 1:00 PM.

Qualifications

Must communicate and work well with your fellow employees, patients, customers, and other health care professionals.

Maintain confidentiality of patient information.

Participate in monthly staff meetings and in‑services.

Maintain a professional appearance and attitude.

Must be computer literate.

Have basic knowledge of funding sources as it relates to your respective department, such as Medicare, Medicaid, Private insurance, V.A., etc.

Must have good telephone skills.

Must be detailed oriented.

Must be able to prioritize various tasks.

Must be able to stand/sit for long periods of time.

Must be able to work in a fast paced high energy environment.

Be able to obtain TB Quanti

FERON test or chest x‑ray (we set this up).

Must be able to obtain and keep a Level 2 background screening clearance.

Drug and Background Policies

Must pass drug test including cannabis; this is a drug‑free workplace.

Candidates must not have any felony convictions to be eligible for employment.

Responsibilities

The sales cashier reports to the sales manager.

Greet the walk‑in customer.

Must be willing to learn a general background of medical equipment and supplies.

Answer most customer questions/inquiries on medical equipment and/or supplies; if not, know where to get the information or direct the customer to the appropriate department.

Have knowledge of cash registers and their operation.

Be dependable, accurate, tactful and courteous. Accurately count money received and change given to customers. The cashier is responsible for the accuracy of the cash drawer when working.

Retrieve and process cash sales on customer orders, pick‑ups and deliveries.

Keep store neat and tidy.

Assist sales staff in completing their paperwork with customers so they can return to the sales floor to assist the next customer.

Other duties as assigned which may include uncompensated attendance at functions during non‑business hours.
